The 29th May 1961 Charity is a Charitable Trust that offers grants for organisations working in the UK. Priority is given to organisations working in Warwickshire and London, however groups across the UK are regularly funded. The scheme supports general charitable purposes, and gives out grants of around £5million each year.
There is no minimum or maximum amount that the charity specifies you have to apply for, and applications may be submitted at any time. Grants are made for both capital and revenue purposes.
Applications must be submitted in writing and accompanied by three copies of the organisation’s latest set of annual accounts and financial report.
The Charity does not have a website or telephone number to contact the trustees, but you can contact them via their email address firstname.lastname@example.org or by post 29th May 1961 Charitable Trust, Ryder Court, 14 Ryder Street, London, SW1Y 6QB.
