The Thomas Wall Trust is a grant-making charity which offers grants for small charities across the UK that are running specific projects that address the educational and social needs of their local communities.
Grants are available up to a maximum of £1,000 and the Trust only accepts applications from registered charities. They have a long list of exclusions that they will not fund, which includes:
- Charities with an income of over £100,000
- General running costs
- Charities established less than 2 years ago
- Building and redevelopment work
Applications can be submitted at any time, and Trustees meet to consider applications twice a year. The charity advises that applications for the July meeting should be submitted by the end of May and, for the November meeting, by the end of September. You will only be contacted if you have been successful.
On order to apply you are required to register on the Trust’s website, following which you will be emailed a PDF application form.
