The Eveson Charitable Trust is a regional Trust that only funds registered charities that are delivering projects that benefit people living in the West Midlands. In their eyes the West Midlands is classed as Herfordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull and Walsall.
In order to receive funding, the trust states that you must ‘have activities…for the support or relief of’:
- People with disabilities and mental health problems
- Children in need
- Older People
- Homeless People
- Hospitals/Hospices
- Medical research into any of the above
You can apply for up to £15,000 but with the average grant offered around £7,000, lower monetary applications are more likely to be successful. Applications can be made at any time but must meet the Trust’s office two months before the Trustees meeting. These are held quarterly, usually at the end or middle of March and June and the beginning of October and January.
Application forms can be obtained on request by contacting The Eveson Charitable Trust directly at: Alex Gay, The Eveson Charitable Trust, Gloucester, GL1 1LP.
