Across 1st & 2nd October 2024, Get Grants are leading a FREE Virtual Conference full of celebration, inspiration, and practical advice and support – true Get Grants style.
Over 2 days, Get Grants FREE Virtual Conference will bring together Fundraisers from across the UK for a programme led by Get Grants Experts, funders, and other experts from across the sector.

This FREE Virtual Conference is for Fundraisers of all levels of abilities to build their confidence and celebrate the amazing work they do with like-minded, friendly people!
Building on our regular FREE Virtual Events, we want to reach as many fundraisers as possible – help us spread the word and share with your networks!
This Virtual Conference will be entirely FREE – no fees, no sponsors, no advertising. We’re also keeping it simple and accessible – no break-out rooms and no choosing which sessions to attend. Can’t attend all the sessions? The recording will be made available to everyone, also FREE!

Meet the Speakers
John Ellery – Get Grants
Founder & Director of Get Grants. You may already know him from Get Grants FREE Virtual Events and Training! John set up Get Grants in 2012. He has a passion for supporting small grassroots community organisations and this is reflected in everything we offer at Get Grants.
Jo Jeffery
Jo Jeffery is a freelance Trust and Foundations Fundraiser and one of the creators of ‘The List’, a collaborative record of over 130 Trusts and Foundations that are pausing, closing, and reviewing their funding programmes.
Rosie Milsom
Rosie Milsom is an experienced multi-discipline fundraiser and is passionate about helping charities of all sizes to become more confident in their fundraising. Alongside her fundraising career, Rosie is a certified life coach, supporting people to increase their self-worth and success.
Michelle Stein
Michelle Stein is an experienced fundraiser specialising in high-value relationship fundraising. For over ten years she has worked in charities and with some of the biggest philanthropic families in the UK and US. She has trained fundraisers in the UK, Europe, Australia and South Africa and knows from first-hand experience that with the right training, any fundraiser can go from mediocre to extraordinary.
Hayley Gullen
Hayley Gullen has 13 years experience as a fundraiser and bid writer, of which 10 have been in the voluntary sector for well-known charities including Tommy’s and St Mungo’s. Hayley has significant experience in trusts and foundations and has worked with Garfield Weston Foundation, City Bridge Trust and The Wellcome Trust.
David Page
David Page has been a fundraiser for almost 20 years and specialises in working with small charities that are disproportionately affected by financial challenges. He has built a wealth of experience on how to survive, flourish and grow when resources seem scarce. David has previously delivered training for the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) and is also a Director of Triceratops Training.

Albert Hunt Trust offers unrestricted core funding for smaller organisations for Hospices, Homelessness, and Health and Wellbeing. In 2023 the Trustees decided to spend The Albert Hunt Trust’s entire resources and close coinciding with its 50th Anniversary in January 2029.
Charities Aid Foundation – Lorna Belsey Senior Manager, Grantmaking Operations
Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) run a range of programmes on behalf of its clients, awarding grants of various sizes, across many cause areas within the UK and internationally.
Clothworkers Foundation – Jack Abbotts, Large Grants Lead
The Clothworkers’ Foundation is a UK-wide funder that offers capital grants to not-for-profits that support communities facing disadvantage and marginalisation. The projects funded focus on buildings, equipment, vehicles and digital infrastructure.
Lloyds Bank Foundation – Peter Cunnison, Regional Manager
Through unrestricted funding and support to develop Lloyds Bank Foundation help small and local charities thrive, communities grow stronger, and people overcome complex issues and barriers so they can transform their lives.
