Electrical Safety First is the UK’s leading charity for electrical safety committed to preventing deaths and injuries caused by electricity and influencing both government policy and industry standards.
The Electrical Safety Fund offers grants of a total of £1 million to support projects that help protect people from electrical harm, with grants of up to £10,000 available. To find out more please visit their website.
Applications are open to UK-based not-for-profit and public organisations including charities, schools, government bodies, Community Interest Companies (CICs) and trusts. The Fund is aimed at helping those who are most vulnerable to electrical risk and injury.
Funding is available for projects that:
- Improve electrical safety education
- Raise awareness of electrical safety risks and how people can stay safe
- Remove, repair or replace unsafe electrical products
- Address electrical installation safety issues
