The Foyle Foundation will complete its grant giving programme in 2025, marking 25 years of giving. Since it became operational in November 2001, The Foundation has disbursed £146.6M in grants.
The Foundation currently offers grants through two programmes:
- Main Grant Scheme
- Small Grant Scheme
Both Schemes remain open for applications from charities up until 31 JANUARY 2025. All projects/activities need to be completed by the end of 2025 to be eligible for consideration. Application for both schemes must be made online
Main Grant Scheme
The Main Grants Scheme remains open for applications from charities up until 31 JANUARY 2025. All projects/activities need to be completed by the end of 2025 to be eligible for consideration.
This programme focuses on the two outcomes of Arts and Learning, sharing the same guidance and application form. The programmes aims to (Arts) help sustain the arts and deliver artistic vision and (Learning) support projects with libraries, museums and archives, special educational needs or encouraging sustainability. This Main Grants Scheme is open only to registered charities with grants generally between £10,000 and £50,000.
Small Grants Scheme
The Small Grant Scheme is designed to support smaller charities in the UK, working at grass roots and local community level, in any field across a wide range of activities. Applications are welcomed from charities or community groups that have an annual turnover of less than £150,000. Grants are made for a one year period between £1,000 and £10,000.
