The Stuart Halbert Foundation is a grant making charity based in the North East of England established in 2010.
The Foundation supports causes within four broad categories. These being:
- People
- Animal welfare
- Armed forces
- Local community (defined by the Foundation as Tynedale Valley and beyond).
They state that these grant priorities may change on an annual basis and whilst it appears they have not changed for a number of years it is worth checking their guidelines to ensure this is still the case.
The Foundation accepts applications from registered charities and groups without charity registration, with groups that aren’t charities required to provide independent referees who are able to vouch for their work.
The Foundation supports both initiatives in the UK and those overseas, with applications accepted at any time of the year.
Applications must be completed using the Foundations application form, which itself can only be submitted via post. For more details on how to application visit the Stuart Halbert Foundation website.
