The 29th May 1961 Charity is a Charitable Trust that offers grants for other registered charities working in the UK. Priority is given to organisations working in the Midlands, particularly Coventry and Warwickshire, however groups across the UK are regularly funded. The scheme supports general charitable purposes, and gives out grants of around £5million each year.
There is no minimum or maximum amount that the charity specifies you have to apply for, and applications may be submitted at any time. The Charity publishes lists of awards granted in their Annual Report and Accounts available on the Charity Commission website.
Applications must be submitted in writing and accompanied by one copies of the organisation’s latest set of annual accounts and financial report.
The Charity does not have a website or telephone number to contact the trustees, but you can contact them via their email address enquiries@29may1961charity.org.uk or by post to The 29th May 1961 Charity, One Eastwood, Binley Business Park, Harry Weston Road, Coventry, CV3 2UB.
