One of the best ways you can increase your grant fundraising success is by reapplying to funders who have supported you in the past. Previous funders already know and like your work and often want their grants to make a longer-term impact – easy decision!
Some funders will provide a monitoring or evaluation form for you to fill in, others ask for a report but provide not format, and many won’t ask for a report at all. Whether funders request a report or not, sending an evaluation report when your grant period comes to an end (typically 12 months) will put you in the most advantageous position to request further grant funding. This results in a higher chance of success and often increasingly larger grants!
Producing a report from scratch can be time-consuming. We know that many organisations don’t know where to begin and are often confused as to what they should and shouldn’t include.
Through our Evaluation Report Service, Get Grants are uniquely able to utilise expertise from both sides of the grant funding process (see our Grant-Giving consultancy services) to support not-for-profit organisations to increase their grant fundraising success.
What we provide
As part of this service, we will produce a 2-4 page report document that can be sent to multiple funders. The Evaluation Report will be tailored to your organisation and will include details of your project, what you achieved, and the next steps for your organisation. An extract from an example report can be seen below.
Included within this service is an Investigative Meeting where we will get an understanding of your work/project. We will work with you to tell the story of your project’s successes, analyse its wider impact, and articulate the differences it’s made to the lives of your beneficiaries.
Once complete, you can use the provided report as a template to send to any number of funders and even help you complete evaluation or monitoring forms.
Who is this service suitable for?
We are able to produce Evaluation Reports for any type of funder, any project, or any size of grant. N.B We are not able to complete report forms as part of this process.
This service is suitable for not-for-profit organisations of all shapes and sizes and can benefit organisations that are relatively new to fundraising as well as those with established fundraising processes.
