The Boshier-Hinton Foundation is a grant making charity with the overall aim to improve quality of life for people with disabilities or learning difficulties and their families.
Grants are provided in line with the Foundation’s aims to:
- Provide relief for children and adults with special educational or other needs, and their families.
- Support provision of facilities and advocacy for children and adults with special educational or other needs.
The Foundation does not support capital projects, core costs, or salaries where statutory funding is available. You are also unable to apply for a grant if you have received one from the Foundation in the past two years.
Grants awarded are usually up to £2,000, however the Foundation does award larger grants on occasion. The Foundation is only able to fund registered charities.
The Foundation has no deadlines and grant applications must be made via an application form, available on their website. This form must be word processed and not hand-written and can be submitted to the Foundation via both email and post.
