The Edward Cadbury Charitable Trust is a grant giving trust founded in 1945. The trust offers grants for charitable purposes relating to local communities, focusing on seven main areas including; research, education and training, interfaith and multi-faith relations, conservation and environment, compassionate support, community projects and integration and arts and culture.
The trust supports projects in the UK, with a particular focus on supporting projects in the Midlands, and will only accept applications from registered charities..
Grants are generally offered between £500 to £10,000 and tend to be awarded as a one-off to support a particular project. Occasionally larger grants are awarded.
The application can be completed via a three step process on the website, or via email or by post as long as the application explains the project in question in full, as well as its benefits, outcomes and purpose. All applications should also provide an outline of the budget for the project, and an explanation of the initial funding for the project.
