The Goldsmiths’ Company is one of the twelve livery companies of the City of London, which has its own charitable trust. The charity makes grants to London and national charities with a turnover of less than £5 million. The charity often makes small grants of up to £5,000. The Goldsmiths’ Company Charity is currently accepting applications for small grants in the following areas:
- Culture;
- General Welfare;
- Medical Welfare/Disabled.
In order to apply, first submit an eligibility form via the website. Once this has been reviewed, you will be invited by email to apply via an online form if your project is deemed suitable. Once you receive the email with the link to the online form, you must complete your application within 2 weeks (unless you specifically request more time).
The Goldsmiths’ Company Charity generally prefers to fund specific project costs , however they will consider core funding if there is suitable justification for this.
Applications can be submitted at any time and the charity aims to review all appeals within 3 months of submission.
