The Foundation offers grants to organisations through four different programmes with a fifth programme, the Hardship Fund, offering small grants to individuals. The grants for organisation are:
This programme offers grants of up to £2,000 for small community organisations across the UK. Applicants should have a turnover of under £300,000 and be applying for a project working with one of the communities of interest that the Foundations focuses on.
This programme aims to improve people’s lives through improving the environment. Again organisations should turnover less than £300,000, with grants of a maximum of £2,000. Grants can be used for capital improvements or for the costs of delivering a project
As the name suggests this programme offers core funding of up to £15,000 a year for three years to organisations in the counties of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Durham and Teesside. Applicants must also be working with disadvantaged people.
More details on this programme can be found on our specific Greggs Breakfast Club Blog.
All of the grant programmes prioritise organisations working close to locations of Greggs stores and please refer to the Foundation’s website for details of the next grant deadlines.
All applications must be submitted via the Foundation’s website where there is a relatively straightforward application form for each programme.
