The Morrisons Foundation is the charitable arm of the Morrisons supermarket chain and offers a single grant programme.
The programme offers to fully fund projects up to the cost of £25,000. Notably the Foundation only accepts applications for projects that it will fully fund, so you cannot apply if your project cost is above £25,000.
A wide range of projects may be considered, including projects surrounding:
- Health (Hospice Care, specialist equipment, support groups)
- Social Investment (Community transport, food-banks, building
refurbishments) - Education (Reading support, Employment programmes, special needs
schools) - Support for carers
- Arts and Culture (Community choirs, creative arts, music in hospitals)
The Foundation only accepts applications from organisations that are registered charities, are delivering work in the United Kingdom and are making a request for a specific project.
Applications must be completed online, with the Foundation offering a relatively simple application form. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis, with decisions made within three months.
