The Peter Harrison Foundation is a charity that is committed to offering grants to charities working with disadvantaged groups. The Foundation has sustained its commitment to three broad areas of need in sports namely; opportunities for self-development through sports, care of young people and children with special needs and education, with the latter not open to unsolicited applications.

Applications for this programme are only accepted from the charities that exclusively meet the needs of the young people and children. The programme is specifically designed for the south East of England. The targeted counties include Buckinghamshire; Berkshire; Isle of Wight; Hampshire; Kent; East Sussex; Oxfordshire; Surrey; and West Sussex.
This programme is intended to serve the whole United Kingdom and its aim is usually to support sporting activities which provide opportunities for the disabled.
The Foundations website offers clear Eligibility guidelines, with eligible organisations encouraged to apply through the two-stage application process. The first stage is relatively simple with successful applicants invited to put forward a more detailed second stage application.
