The Roger & Douglas Turner Charitable Trust offers grants of up to £3,000 to registered charities in Birmingham, Worcestershire and the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton) for capital appeals or specific projects.
The trustees will consider supporting projects in the following areas:
- Children & Young People
- Disabled & Health
- Environment & Heritage
- The Arts
- Work in the Community
- Social Support
- Hospices
Eligible expenditure includes specific project costs, capital costs and core costs. Specific staff salaries are not eligible for funding by the Roger & Douglas Turner Charitable Trust.
Repeat applications for funding are welcomed after 12 months has passed since making an application. The Trust often considers supporting charities on a long-term basis, and if you become a regularly funded charity, Trustees will try to visit you every two years to check how your project/organisation is progressing.
Applications can be submitted at any time through the online form. Trustees meet four times per year to consider appeals, with the deadline for submission occurring just over one month prior to the next trustee meeting.
