SEE CHANGERS GRANT PROGRAMMES
Sea-Changers gives one-off grants (i.e. not continual funding) to UK-based charities and other organisations (including schools) carrying out marine conservation related activities.
The Main Grants Programme is for applications of £500 to £2500 with two grant rounds per year. Deadlines for applications are 31 March and 30 September each year.
The Small Grants Programme is for applications up to £500 and is always open. It has a simpler application process than the main grants and you can apply any time.
Information on how to apply to either fund can be found here
Sea-Changers also periodically runs several other grants programmes:
Sea-Changers Coastal Fountain Fund aims to reduce the impact of single-use plastic water bottles on coastal habitats by funding communities to purchase water drinking fountains and install them for use by the public in busy or environmentally important areas. Grants of up to £2,500 are available, per applicant, towards the cost of a fountain. Details are available here.
Other examples are the Innovation Fund and the Marine Conservation Social Fund. Information about all funding streams are available on their website.
