St James’s Place Foundation is the charitable arm of St James’ Place Wealth Management Group and funds hundreds of projects each year.
The charity currently only offers a small grant programme, which is aimed at supporting the following groups:
- Disadvantaged Young People
- Supporting People with Cancer
- Supporting Young People with Special Needs
The charity provides grants for either small capital items or revenue costs, with a requirement that 75% of beneficiaries must fit into the above groups. Grants are available up to £10,000.
To be able to apply, you must be a registered UK charity with an annual income of up to £1,000,000 and have reserves of less than 50% of annual turnover. You can find the guidelines and online application form on their website, with further information on the application process. There are no deadlines and the whole process can take from 4 to 6 months so it’s advisable to apply well in advance of when the funds are needed.
