The National Hockey Foundation

by John

The National Hockey Foundation provides grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 to organisations to support Young People (up to 21 years) to take part in Hockey activities. Applications are invited from a wide range of organisations including Sports Clubs, Schools, other educational institutions Registered Charities and not-for-profit companies.

The Foundation will support capital or revenue costs in relation to specific projects. Examples of costs that will be considered by The National Hockey Foundation include equipment purchase, building/court refurbishment and larger capital projects. Additional eligible costs could include training, educational equipment, transport and project staff costs.

Due to the Foundation’s connection with the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes, additional funding is available to support Young People to take part in wider sporting activities in the town. On the National level, the Foundation will only support projects that help Young People to take part in Hockey activities.

To apply, you should read the grant guidelines carefully before downloading an application form from the website. Applications can be submitted at any time by returning to the email address provided on the Foundation’s website, and it will take up to 6 moths for Trustees to reach a decision.

Please note that the trustees are no longer inviting applications. If you have an interest in applying for a grant, please contact the administrator at nathockeyfoundation@gmail.com – you may then be asked to submit an indication form
