The Field Family Charitable Trust, which was formally known at the The Woodlands Trust, is a Trust that supports the elderly and young people aged between 16-25. The Trust looks to support initiatives in the West Midlands and London, which they class as within the boundary of the M25.
Supporting only Registered Charities, the Trust will offer grants to cover a variety of costs including equipment, furnishings, alterations to existing buildings to comply with health and safety regulations, and running costs. Grants are usually a one-off, with only charities well known by the trustees receiving regular support.
To be eligible, applicants must have an income of less than £1 million and must hold less than six months turnover as free unrestricted reserves. If you have been unsuccessful previously you are unable to reapply again for a period of 2 years.
Grants range from £1,000-£10,000 and Multi-year funding is also considered.
The Trust offers two annual deadlines, and all applications must be made via the Family Field Charitable Trust website using their online process. Along with the completed application form you must also provide a copy of your most recent signed accounts, a budget for the project and, a job description (if necessary).
Please note that due to COVID-19 the Trust have experienced a lack of funding, and are therefore unfortunately unable to open the funding cycle for the April 2021 meeting.
