The Chester Bluecoat Charity makes grants to organisations local to Chester that support the most disadvantaged in our society. Their grants provide vital funding for projects that aim to tackle the root causes of poverty and inequality throughout the city and the surrounding area.
They offer two types of grants; a strategic one awarding grants of at least £2,000 to schemes that aim to make a lasting difference in the community over several years and a small fund grant offering a single grant of less than £500, which could help you buy much-needed new equipment for your organisation.
The charity is looking, in particular, for organisations and initiatives that work with young people.
There is no deadline for submitting grant applications, the grant giving meet regularly throughout the year to consider all applications.
